Depending on the complexity of your case and how much help you need, AccessPoint’s visa services may include any or all of:

• An obligation free initial consultation (in person, in writing, or by telephone), which includes a preliminary assessment of your visa needs.
• A written advice about your visa options.
• A written step-by-step guide that details the steps in your visa process.
• If you are completing and lodging your own application, expert assistance if and when you need it.
• Our full service, from initial consultation and advice to preparation and lodgement of the documents, further requests by DIAC and finally to the decision by DIAC and the evidencing of the visa in your passport.

While we generally charge by the hour, AccessPoint can fix our fees for one, some, or all, of the above services. The fees can be agreed on with you “upfront”, so that you know how much you have to pay from the outset. We will also let you know of possible contingencies and payments which may arise in the future, so you aren’t surprised by any hidden or unexpected costs.
There is also a range of visas for which we will always charge a fixed fee.

Consultations

Some migration agents did not charge for an initial consultation - such a system can only be cursory and superficial at best. At AccessPoint, we have a policy of charging for the initial consultation because we provide advice and assistance from the outset, advice that is completely confidential, candid and obligation free.

The initial consultation costs $200, plus GST. However, if you decide to engage AccessPoint beyond the initial consultation, the cost of the initial consultation will come off the fee for the further services.

Visa Application Assistance

AccessPoint provides comprehensive visa application assistance, which includes preparing and/or arranging:

• Supporting documents.
• Statutory declarations or other supporting statements.
• The application forms.
• Medical and police checks.
• Lodging the application with DIAC and meeting any further requests by DIAC.
• Advising you on the visa grant, conditions, entry rules and so forth.

We can charge a lump sum for application assistance or stagger the fee over 2 or more payments for your convenience. This amount depends on the type of visa that you are applying for, the complexity of your case and the number of people included in the application.
